AUGUST

So where did July go

and when did August get here??

We have had a busy start to the month.

I ended July and started August by joining the

gym with Brian!! He is my "trainer".

Bri found a workout program online designed

for people with MS so I'm well on my

way to a stronger, healthier me:)

The first Sunday of August is always

the Smith Family Reunion.

(my mother-in-law's family)

We had a sunny, hot day to spend at

Darien Lake State Park.

It was great seeing everyone and the girls had a blast.

Especially Kailyn who made sure that everyone got a

turn chasing her around!!

Unfortunately, I left the camera at home and have no pics to share:(

Like I said, August has been a busy month for us.

We have been busy looking for the

pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...

This pot of gold looks like it ended right at our house:)

What would August be without

Hot Summer Nights

at the Southgate Plaza??

We really enjoyed a night of music performed

by the Boys of Summer

~and~

Elvis!!

And I can't forget the fireworks!!

They are ALWAYS the best

display around!!

Next was Jason & Andrea's wedding.

Congrats to the newly married couple.

We were excited to share their

special day with them at the

Roycroft Inn.

Then we were off to a baptism.

Madyson Giuliana Lindhurst,

my goddaughter:)

Here she is in her slip that was made from

her Grandma Diane's wedding dress.

With help from mommy & grandma,

she is putting her beautiful gown on.

The gown was made from her mommy & Grandma Barb's

wedding dress!

She was an angel and slept thru most

of the ceremony.

Hannah & Chloe at the baptism party.

When I say these girls were pooped

I mean it.

Here is proof.

On Sunday they both fell to sleep

when we got home at 6pm.

Kailyn woke for 45 minutes

before deciding she needed more sleep.

She went back down & slept till 9am Monday morning.

Hannah had no desire to wake up.

She slept thru dinner

till 9am Monday morning.

So that is what we have been up to these past

11 days.

We are looking forward to our annual vacation

at Sunset Bay. It will be here before we know it.
