Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy 10 year Anniversary!! Wow 10 years ago today we said "I DO". If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would and I wouldn't change a thing. Brian & I have shared so much. We have had many good times. Made it thru the bad. Been there for the happy, even for the sad. Of all that we have been thru and all that we have encountered, we did it together. I couldn't imagine being where I am today if it wasn't for having his strength and encouragement right by my side! We have learned so much from eachother. We have grown in so many ways. Today is "Our Day". Lets celebrate. Here's looking forward to the next 10 years!

The Road to Recovery
Where to start, where to start...It all started this past Friday. I had a great morning. I was at Hannah's school helping with her class from 9:30 - 11:00. From there I got Kailyn and picked up lunch, then we headed to visit gram & gramp. Little did I know that the milk I picked up for K was spoiled. Not expired but spoiled!! She started vomiting shortly after finishing 4oz of the milk. OMG this poor child. Had to strip her down to her diaper and wash her clothes...While trying to recover from the spoiled milk I got a phone call from the school nurse that Hannah had been sick and needed to be picked up from school! Okay I thought, "I can do this." By this time we had the usual lunch crowd at grams. So I left Kailyn in good hands with Mom, Aunt Barb, gram and Uncle Mike!! Got Hannah, went back to pick up K and headed home...poor Hannah continued vomiting the rest of the afternoon, into the evening and into the next morning!! Now it's Saturday. We headed to the Dr's bright & early in the morning. The Dr wanted to give Hannah till noon to stop vomiting. If not we would need to head to Children's Hospital. Needless to say, the vomiting didn't stop. Got to CHOB ER by 1:30ish. Mom Keicher stayed with K while my parents met us at the hospital. After several hours, an IV, urinalisys & stomach x-ray later determined it was constipation. Hannah had a large bowl movement to pass. We were sent home with a script for Miralex. She did good that evening and was asleep by 9pm. Then Sunday about 1:30 Hannah was sick at Target! And the vomiting started all over again. Since Friday she really had little to eat or drink. After another call to the Dr's they felt that her bowl hadn't completely emptied out and that was the reason for the sickness, again. Sunday we were suppose to have dinner at our house for my mom-in-law's B-Day. We decided to do just cake & ice cream. (well all of us except Hannah) I tried making her a little pastina around 6:30 and by 8:30 that came back up. Everyone left and we were just praying for a good night sleep. Monday was much calmer. Hannah was well into many hours of not being sick and I was in touch with the Dr's every 2 hours with updates. I called with an update at 3:30 happy to report that there had been no vomiting for 7 hours!!! YEA. Then I hung up the phone and headed into the family room to find Bri holding the bucket for Hannah. Soooooooooooooooooo Back to the Dr's office we headed. The Dr decided it would be best to have another x-ray of the stomach done to see if this was still a constipation issue or if we needed to look a little further. The x-ray revealed nothing major and the Dr would be back in touch with us first thing in the AM. By bedtime, Hannah's last bout of sickness hadn't happened since 5:30pm. Again, progress...Now we are 1 hour away from the start of another day and Brian and I share with each other that we do not feel very good. I just wanted to close my eyes, get a good night sleep and have everyone feel better in the morning. Unfortunately that was not the case!! Bri and I woke to find ourselves sicker than dogs. Bri had a fever, chills and aches. I could not get off the toilet...OH NO...To our surprise Hannah was feeling better and no vomiting!! The only problem K ever had was a little watery bowel. So when Hannah's Dr called in the morning I had to share with her how we were feeling. She seems to think in addition to the constipation Hannah was fighting the flu bug! We are going to keep Hannah on the Miralex and keep a watchful eye on her stomach. If needed, the next step is GI testing. (hopefully not) As for the rest of us, Bri is back to work, I think I need one more day to recover (still not feeling well). Hannah is excited to start eating again. She has already asked for pizza, green pepper and watermelon. Little does she know she will be waiting a bit for those things:) Oh and one more thing. I would like to send well wishes to my mother-in-law and father-in-law and Chris and Liz. This bug seems to have spread like wildfire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baby Shower
Today was my sister-in-law, Liz's, Baby Shower. Many of you know that Chris & Liz are expecting their 1st child. SHE will be arriving on June 1st. We are ALL very excited about the arrival of our new niece/cousin.
Here is a picture of Hannah along with the prize she won. She was very excited to be a part of Aunt Liz's special day.
This is a picture of Chris & Liz with the girls. (Hollie, Hannah & MacKenzie) How appropriate that they have a little girl to add to the family:)
Please keep Chris & Liz and their beautiful new baby girl in your thoughts & prayers. They will be heading to Philiadelphia at the end of May. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is where they will be delivering the baby by c-section on 6/1/09. This is where they begin the next chapter of their lives.

Home Sweet Home
We are home!!! Arrived here today around 3pm. Not bad. Bri bought me some Dramamine for the ride home and it really helped. (Thanks Bri) Once again, the girls were awsome on the ride home. Both yesterday and today. I don't know what I'm going to miss most; calculating how many miles are left in the trip, watching for falling rocks, listening to Bri's Metallica CD (which the girls didn't seem to mind) or our stops at McDonalds. All in all I'm happy to be home. We did a little unpacking, rec'd a visit from my mom and dad, then headed to pick up the rest of the family (the dogs of course) Thanks a whole bunch mom & dad Keicher for watching our poochies.
Now that vacation is over my goal is to keep this blog up to date on a weekly basis. Thanks again to those who have helped me to create my blog. And Mandy, thanks for rescuing me when I had no idea what I was doing. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Happy Birthday to All
There, now the Birthday wishes are out of the way. I hope Kailyn doesn't remember much of her 1st Birthday. She was up most of the night. Runny nose & sneezes. Still up at 2:10am so that she could get her official Happy B-Day from mommy & daddy. Then the alarm went off at 3:30am to get ready to head out. We were on the road by 5:15am!! I was quite impressed. I had most of the packing done the night before and Bri was able to pack the truck. How did we manage to come home with more then we came down with?? We are lucky we had roomm for the girls. Anyway, I have to say that I am thankful we did not leave yesterday. Hannah's belly was a little sad this morning and she was sick in the truck about 2 hours into our trip home. Then I started with the motion sickness. OMG... Everyone please remind me next time I tell you we are going on vacation, make sure we are NOT driving!! All in all we are now at a Days Inn in Flatwoods WV. Only 6 hours away from home!! Yea. Can't wait to get home. That is when I'll eat again. Kailyn's 1st B-Day party is scheduled for Sunday so I will post pics after then.

Our Last Day at the Beach
Well, our time has come to say goodbye! I'm actually a little anxious to head home. I can't wait to see our puppy dogs, our families and especially my grandpa! We had a wonderful time here. Got in much needed R & R and we are ready to head home. Today is Day 10 for us here on the beach. It is the longest vacation Bri & I had ever taken. The girls have been great and Hannah has recovered from her bout with the flu. She was quite sick. Was in bed yesterday till 8pm.
Today we did a little souviner shopping and we are going to head out again for the "must have" fireworks and hopefully a trip to the pier. Early to bed/Early to rise.

Happy Easter
The Keichers would like to wish our friends and family a Happy Easter. Even though we are not home to celebrate Easter with you, please know you are in our thoughts. We Love You!!
I would like to wish my family a Happy Easter. Brian, my Best Friend, thank you for everything you have given me! I am so thankful you came into my life 17 years ago. I couldn't imaging being where I am today without your love, support and encouragement. It means so much to me. Hannah and Kailyn, I am very thankful that God has chosen me to be your mom!! I Love You both very much.
We have a busy day planned. After finding our Easter eggs, we are heading to 11am mass at St. Michael's in Garden City. (20 min away) After church we need to stop and pick up Hannah's Birthday Cake!! Next we are on our way to Aunt Joanna's & Uncle Dicks!! (Even though they are my cousins, I can't help but call them aunt & uncle. That is what Bri has always called them and the girls do too.) We are eating between 1 - 2pm. Bri & Uncle Dick are going to try and get 9 holes of golf in after we eat. Then we promised Hannah miniature golf on her B-day. (Not sure how we are going to manage that with Kailyn but we'll try.)
Here's hoping your day is a special one!!

Some pics to share
Day 7
A sunny & fun day at the beach!!
Kailyn just loves the beach
A little cool so Hannah didn't go in past her ankles.
Happy to say I was able to get some reading in while K was napping.
Another fun day for all. The weather was the nicest yet. We hung out at the indoor pool & lazy river for a bit. Then we packed up and headed for the beach!! It was beautiful. Many jet skiers & parasailers. Early to bed for all of us last night. Bri was up early this morning to meet Uncle Dick for some golf. Hope everyone is doing well. Miss you all!!

Wishing You Well Grandpa
The hardest thing about being away on vacation is knowing grandpa is back home in the hospital. Grandpa suffered another heart attack sometime over the weekend. Grandpa, we want you to know that we are thinking about you. Praying for some strength to get back on those feet again. Who is going to chase Kailyn around the house when she starts to walk? (which isn't too far away) Your girls are very excited to see you when we get back. Hang in there. We love you!!
Day 6
6 days down, 6 till we leave to come home. Sorry I don't have any pics to share at this time. I left the camera in the truck last night. (Oops) Yesterday we had a fun afternoon. After having some fun in the pool & lazy river we headed to Broadway at the Beach. Had dinner on the patio at Margaritaville. Then headed off to Build a Bear. This time Hannah built a bunny named Fluffy. She is adorable and she even has an Easter dress, high heel shoes and she has an Easter basket with an egg and bunny in it. It was a beautiful clear night out. I took some great pics with the moon in the background. (I'll share those later) Today, not much planned. It is slowly getting warmer. I'd like to head to the pier that is just a few blocks from us. I'll post more later with pics!!

Day 5
Hannah had a fun time too. She ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with chips and a Shirley Temple to drink. After dinner she went to the kid area. The kid area has chalk board walls for the kids to draw on. Before leaving to head back, we went for a walk on the Marsh Walk. It was a little breazy so we had to cut our walk short. All in all it was a fun evening.

Day 4
Good Morning!!! Don't let this picture fool you. I was so excited when I woke to this beautiful sunrise until I opened our balcony door to take the picture. I was 45 degrees out!!! Yikes. Today and tomorrow are suppose to be a bit cooler. No problemo!! We have lots of indoor things to see & do. This afternoon we are meeting up with Aunt Joanna & Uncle Dick. They are taking us to the Marsh Walk for dinner. The Marsh is located south of us in Murrells Inlet. There is live entertainment, boating, fishing ,shopping and of course dinning. We are going to go to Dead Dog Saloon for dinner. Bri & Uncle Dick will be setting their Tee times for later in the week:) All in all we are having a fun and relaxing time. Kailyn has adjusted very well to her new surroundings. She is still on her schedule. 10am & 2pm naptimes. Hannah is still as excited as the day we got here. ALWAYS asking what we are going to do next.

Day 3
Well, everyone got much needed good night sleep. The girls were down by 8:30 and Bri andI thankfully by 9:30. I'm glad we took the 2 days to get here. We woke this morning at 8am to a Tornado Watch accross the screen of the television. What a wonderful welcome. Oh well, before we left for vacation I said that we would make the best of it no matter what we were given. How do you make the best of a Tornado Watch?? I guess we cross our fingers and hope for the best... The girls enjoyed a fun bath in our tub last night!!! Fun Wow... Until tomorrow...
Day 2
Day 2 really went fast. Again, great ride to our final destination. MB!! I think our girls were born to travel. We arrived for check-in at 4pm. The same time as the rest of the resort arrived!!! OMG was it busy!! After a few minutes we were checked in and moving in to our new home for the next 9 days:) I'm excited to say we have a 3 bedroom (each with a king bed) 2 bath, Ocean Front Condo. I think it is bigger than our house. (lol) Hannah and Kailyn are sharing a room. They have their own tv. It is one of four we have to watch. Here is a pic of our kit, eating & living area. Lots of room for Kailyn to get around. Bri calls her a little tornado. Wow is she fast. She is at that running crawl right now. I'm sure she will be sleeping well!!!

When we pulled in I thought we were the only ones staying at the hotel. Only 2 other cars in the lot!! Cool Here is a picture of the "kids" enjoying the pool!! Time for dinner. Post more on Day 2...

First Post
Here it is. My first post!!! Just a quick "Thank You" to those of you who have such wonderful blogs. You are my inspiration.
Brian, the girls and I will be leaving for vacation on Saturday. Myrtle Beach here we come!! A vacation worth the wait. 11 days of some desperately needed R & R. I thought this would be a wonderful way for our friends and family to keep up on our happenings while we are away. I will try hard to stay on top of things. I'm very excited about this new adventure.
