It's Game Day. Go Bills

It's Game Day and the Keichers are ready. Bri was out of the house just after 10:30 this morning. He has season tix with his brother, so off to tailgating it was!! Meanwhile, Hannah and Kailyn put on their lucky Bills jerseys. Let's Go Buffalo!!!

Pizza Party with Grandpa

We had a nice afternoon visit with grandpa. We decided to get everyone together for a pizza party. We had pizza, wings and salad along with many yummy desserts:) As usual, we know how to throw a party. Grandpa was excited to see everyone. He even invited some of the nurses to come down for a bite to eat! And of coarse they did. (Can't say no to gramps)

Using the Fork!

My "Big Girl" is finally realizing the necessity for eating utensils! She is doing a great job. Now she is actually poking the food with the fork rather then putting it on the fork with her other hand. It is so much fun to watch. I love this age:) What is next?? The potty??????

Cheap Entertainment!!

Stop this ride, I want to get off!!!

Hi everyone. Sorry it has been 1 week since my last post. Yes I am slacking. Work has been very busy. (That is good) AND I have been spending some of my "free" time on facebook. (Thanks to my friends for talking me into that one:) You know who you are!!) Other then that, Hannah is doing well at getting adjusted to the back to school thing. AND much to my surprise, Kailyn is also getting adjusted to the back to school thing. We have a busy few days ahead, followed by the start of classes at the studio on Saturday. Sunday is Emily's baptism. So I will update everyone soon on all of our happenings. Have a good one:)

Summer Fun (29 photos), by Jennifer Keicher

Here are some pictures from Barnabas Lawn Fete and Darien Lake. Just click on Hannah and you can view all our pictures:) I have to say that Hannah is quite the thrill seeker!! She gets that from Brian not me!! Enjoy the pics!

1st Day of 1st Grade

Here we are. Back to school!! I can't believe it's here. I just remember my "Last Day of School" post. I remember thinking of how we are going to spend the summer. What fun things can we plan?... Hannah was a HUGE help to me. She is so great with Kailyn. A little helper, a little mom:) Thank you Hannah!! Luckily, Kailyn woke up just before we headed to the bus stop. As Hannah does every morning, she rushed in to say "good morning" to K.

It was nice to have daddy home this morning to help with the first day. We had a great breakfast. Zucchini, mushrooms, green peppers, peas & spinach cooked on the stove. Just before it is done we throw in some eggs and scramble it all together. Yummy!!!

Look at my big 1st grader!! What is she thinking? Does she know how much I'm going to miss her?? I hope not...

...A nice surprise when we got to the bus stop was a friend!! This is Autumn and she is going into kindergarden this year. It will be so nice having someone at the bus stop with us this year.

Whoever says that it gets easier as they get older, don't believe them. I think it was just as hard today as it was last year. The only thing that helped me hold back the tears was Autumn's mom. I didn't want to blubber in front of her...So instead I did it on the walk back to the house with Brian and Kailyn by my side...
...I hope today goes quick. Tomorrow is Friday and then a 3 day weekend! Not a bad way to start the school year.
