Quick Update
Wow, it's Friday!! It was a busy week. I worked everyday this week. I'm still in the process of getting use to working full time again. It's good to be back and in the swing of things. I love my job! All week we have been busy registering students and getting ready for the 31st season at Dance Spectrum!! Yesterday was our Open House, it was a huge success!
I can't believe that summer is about to end! Hannah will be starting 1st grade in a few short days and it will be back to just me and Kailyn during the day. Hannah has been a wonderful help and a great "Big Sister" all summer. It will be hard for me to send her off to school on Thursday!
We are still hoping to get in some, "last minute summer fun things", before Thursday. I'll keep you posted. Have a great weekend:)

The Yearly Picture
It all started 6 years ago, when Hannah was playing Peak-a-boo behind a tree with Aunt Barb. Aunt Barb was quick to snap a picture. Every year since then we make sure to get a picture of Hannah behind that same tree.
This year I was excited to add Kailyn to the tradition.
She jumped right in, having no problem learning what to do.
Sunset Bay
What a wonderful week... This week was our yearly visit to "the cottage" at the lake. Sunset Bay Beach has been a tradition for many many years. I have wonderful memories and I'm so excited to watch the girls make some of their own. As soon as we crossed over the tracks on Sunday, Hannah yelled, "We're at the cottage!!"
It sure has earned it's name, Sunset Bay...
Unfortunately, the week prior to us arriving, there was a bad rain storm. There was flooding throughout the town. All the docks at the marina were washed out to the lake. Many boats were missing. We even heard a story about a car being pulled from the lake. There was a lot of debris washed onto the beach. We saw trees, driftwood and a even a car tire with the rim still in it!

The Bee Newspaper
So my dad calls on his way home from work to say that he just stopped and picked up 9 Bee newspapers (from 2 different locations) with Bri & Hannah's picture on the Front Page. Can you believe it?? Like BIG headline news!! Front Page:)
I have to say I was quite surprised when I saw the 5 x 7 picture taking up most of the front page!! Great job guys:)
Princess Camp
This was a fun and exciting week at Princess Camp. 3 days of crafts, stories, games, tea parties and finally "The Ball."
Here is a picture of Princess Hannah wearing the dress she wore 2 years ago for Danielle & Mike's wedding. Other then the length, it fit her just fine:)
Princess Hannah took a moment to pose with Kailyn for a quick picture before the festivities began. I'm not sure if the bigg smile on K was from posing with her sister OR the fact that she learned how to escape out of the stroller.
And now for the ball...

Keicher Cookout and Finally, some Pool Fun!!
Today started rainy & stormy and ended rainy & stormy. However, in between, we managed to get a cookout in along with some pool time:) Mom & dad invited us over for a cookout. In addition to Bri, the girls & I, they also invited my parents and Aunt Joann & Uncle Dick. Unfortunately, Chris & Liz had to stay home with Emily, who was feeling under the weather today. (Feel better Em, we missed you guys at the party)
It was a great cookout and the sun even came out for a bit. It was warm and muggy, so after dinner we agreed to let Hannah go into the pool. The 75 degree water was a bit chilly for the rest of us though. After pool time, Bri took the girls for a ride around on the tractor. They had a blast. It was great just sitting and relaxing around the pool.

A Night With ELVIS & The Boys of Summer
What a fun night. Tonight, at the Southgate Plaza, was Hot Summer Night. (Or so one would like to call it.) We watched a 3 hour concert featuring The Boys of Summer and, Hannah's Favorite, Elvis.
Would you believe that Hannah was spotted on her daddy's shoulders by a photographer with the West Seneca Bee. Yes, a picture similar to this one will be in the West Seneca Bee this Thursday 8/13. So be on the lookout. I will as well. Don't worry if you miss it, I'm sure we will have many extra copies!! In the meantime Hannah will be practicing her autograph!!
Now it just wouldn't be fair of me to post a picture of daddy with one of his girls and not the other little girl. Right?? So here she is:)
Once again, I'm not sure who I had more fun watching. I guess it would have to be Kailyn...She had quite the fun evening. Looks like her face tells it all.
What a great way to end the night!!
