Las Vegas

On Sunday Brian left for a work conference in Vegas!!
It was a l o n g couple of days.
He arrived home early yesterday evening.
The plans were to have his dad pick him up from the airport,
however, much to Brian's surprise
I was able to leave work & pick him up myself.
~~~~
I gave him the camera and told him to take lots of pictures.
Unfortunately, there wasn't a whole lot of down time.
Keeping that in mind, he still managed to get some great pictures.
Welcome to Las Vegas!!
Views from Brian's room
on the 26th floor of
Mandalay Bay.
Look at the beautiful mountains!!
Inside Mandalay Bay
One of the many things inside the hotel
was an aquarium!
If you don't already know this, Brian is not a gambler.
I can't believe he got a picture of the casino for me!!
Can you see the slot machines??
They are in the background behind this
shinny new Corvette!!
~~~~
Welcome Home Brian!!
The girls and I are so happy to have you home.

Cousins

This weekend we had the pleasure of getting together with
Anthony & Mandy (& their beautiful family)
who were in town for a wedding.
It was so nice sharing some much needed cousin time!
~And~
Getting all the "girls" together!!
I call this picture
Girl Power!!
After several camera flashes...
...here we all are!!
Kailyn~Lucia~Hannah & Maddy

I think all the excitement was a bit much for
Maddy to handle.

For as long as I can remember there has always been a
"kids table" right??
Here's to keeping up with tradition!

I decided to make a "special" dinner.
My first time making lasagna.
I surprised myself by making, not 1, not 2
but 3 lasagnas for everyone to enjoy.
1 spinach & 2 meat.
Along with some cucumbers & tomatoes,
bread, butter and wine!
~YUMMY~
Great conversation, laughter and watching our families play together
made it easy to pick up where we left off the last
time we were all together!

Kailyn Rose

This morning I had the joy of getting 2 ready
for school. Hannah wanted Kailyn to join us at the bus stop.
~~~~
(Sometimes K is still sleeping when we head to the bus stop)
~~~~
So, here she is with her back pack
filled with some reading books.
I wish I would have gotten a picture of both of them,
however, to our surprise
the bus was early this morning...
...by about 4 minutes!!

Making My Day

Well, today we had a rough morning.
Hannah wasn't particularly happy going to school
today...and
there were many tears between her & I.
(I when she wasn't looking & after she got on the bus)
I'm so glad to have my
"saving grace"
still at home with me!!
Kailyn Rose, you put a smile on my face today
when I saw you with my lipstick on.
~~~~
I turned my head to answer the phone
while she was brushing her teeth
and this
is what I returned too!!
She got a kick at looking at herself in the mirror
afterwards to see what a great job she had done.
I said to her,
"Is that what mommy looks like when she wears lipstick?"
She replied,
"Yes momma, momma pretty."
~~~~
So the next time you see me,
if I'm not wearing any lipstick
you'll know why
&
there will be no need to ask:)

Good bye!! Have a great
1st Day of 2nd Grade!

One last picture...
One final thought.
Thankfully, there are 2
more years before Kailyn & her
friend Aiden head to kindergarden:)

A Fun End to Summer

Hi everyone...
...for some reason all my pics
posted backwards.
(must have been my input error)
LOLAny who....
The Keicher's have squeezed as much as
we could out of the summer!
Monday we headed to Darien Lake.
Hannah tells me before we get there that she
is going to ride a roller coaster.
My response was, "uh hu, okay."
To my surprise, her & Brian went to make sure she
met the height requirement for the ride,
and they were gone!!
Off to ride the Viper!!
When all was said & done,
Hannah felt the ride was "cool" and
she thought going upside down was "relaxing."
Uh hu...Okay!
Here are Hannah & daddy having more fun on the rides:)
Kailyn enjoyed her time in
Kiddie Land...
...and so did we!!
With the exception of this ride,
Hannah & Kailyn were able to go on
the rides by themselves.

Off roadin

Just swinging around

can't forget the choo~choo train

More "big kid" fun on the Pirate!

Kailyn is having such a hard time holding in
her excitement.
Can you tell??
~~~~~~
Yes it was a fun afternoon.
Definitely
"A fun End to the Summer"!!
Tooth #6!!
It happened on Saturday morning!
Uncle Chris & Emily stopped by for a visit
~and~
Tooth # 6 fell out
while Hannah was holding Emily! She will make a great
jack-o-lantern
for Halloween!
Brian with his girls.
Great smiles ladies.
Thank you Emily for
coming to visit!
