Our Last Day???
Yesterday was the "Perfect Day". We made it to church with lots of time to spare. And luckily we did!! There were over 1000 people at mass. It was a beautiful mass and a great start to the day. From there we picked up the cake and headed to Aunt Joanna's. When we walked in Hannah was surprised to see lots of birthday balloons hanging from the light above the table!! We had capoletti soup (I spell it as it sounds lol) which was another surprise to us. We also had ham, mashed sweet potatoes, asparagus, corn pudding and jello. WOW were we stuffed:) After dinner we had Birthday Cake & ice cream, cheese cake, key lime pie!!! and some candy. OMG I don't think I'll eat for days. After dinner I took the girls for a walk and Bri & Uncle Dick headed to golf 9 holes. (We had to work off some of what we had to eat!)
...Here is a great picture of the girls we took outside the church. I found them matching capri outfits for Easter. They looked so cute. We got back to our room late, after 8pm. It was a long day for all. As soon as we got in Hannah had her pj's on and was asleep on the couch. K was fast to follow, after her cereal & milk. THEN IT HAPPENED...Hannah walked into our room at 12:30am and announced she had been sick. I was thinking, and hoping that it was just an overload of all that was eaten hours before. I'm not sure that was the case. She was sick in the bathroom every hour on the hour till 9:30am. Needless to say, I'm not quite sure how we are going to leave here tomorrow. I called he Dr's back home. They advised me of what to do. So far so good. She has only been sick 2 other times since 9:30. It is now 12:20. I also called the front desk to explain what had happened overnight. They were great. Sent housekeeping up right away! Then she told us that if we needed to we could stay another night as the room that we are in is not booked Tues into Wed. Hannah is asleep now and we are just waiting for her to wake up and make a decision on what, when & how. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. I am ready to head home. It has been a VERY long & relaxing vacation. It is time.
Oh NO... Not a good way to end a birthday. I hope she is feeling better soon.
