Kelkenberg Farm is located on Stage Rd in Akron. It is nice, we have found it much quieter and less crazy then some of the other, more larger farms. So, we keep going back. They have lots to see & do. There is a hayride that takes you to the pumpkin patch and you can pick your very own pumpkin. This year we opted not to do the hay ride. Nobody was prepared for the muddy patch.
Here is a picture of daddy helping K with her first poney ride. She had fun and in no time knew just what to do. Hold on tight K!!
The goats were being silly today. This one was having fun on top of this rock. He has better balance then I do:)
Here is mamma donkey with her new baby. She was born on October 2nd. Only a few weeks old. She was having fun running around.
Next was Hannah's turn on the poney!
Inside the barn we saw a sheep, some hens and cows. They had rabbits, little pigs and one very big pig named Pete. Hannah was excited that this horse, Buddy, was very friendly. Just before our visit to the farm was over, we stopped at the stand for some popcorn and hot chocolate.
Thanks Kelkenberg Farm for another year of fun memories!!
How fun!! I miss Fall. I mean jeans and t-shirt kind of fall!! It's kind of hard to get in the mood to go to the pumpkin patch when its 95 out!
